Data leak: On Saturday, the Cyberabad police arrested a person named Vinay Bhardwaj, who was selling people’s data wrongly. In this case, the police has sent notices to 11 different organizations including three banks, a social media company, an IT company etc. and has asked their representative to appear in the matter of data leak. This person named Vinay Bhardwaj was stealing the data of the people of 24 cities and 8 metropolitan cities in different ways and then selling them to different people for a few pesos.
Notice sent to these companies
The 11 different organizations to which the police has sent notices include Byjus, Vedantu, Amazon, Netflix, Paytm, Phone Pe and many other companies. Cyberabad Police has called the officials of these companies to know how the company manages the personal data of the people. If there is any mistake in the management, then the police will also inform the officials about how it can be rectified. The person arrested by the police was running a website named ‘InspireWebz’ and was selling data through cloud drive link to different clients.

The person was selling the data of many people including school children, government employees
The data of government employees has been found with this person named Vinay Bhardwaj, which includes many important information including PAN card details, DOB, phone number etc. of the people. Police have seized many important data in different categories including two mobile phones and laptops from the accused.
